Service/program name: Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA)
Description: A residential program that provides supports for adults with disabilities who choose to live in their own home in the community. Can also be provided on a limited basis for adults who are still living with their parents. Both 24 hour and intermittant levels of support are available. Person-centered services primarily focus on assisting individuals to live, work and play in natural environments. The Arc has 18 CILA's in Iroquois County. The CILA's are jlocated in Milford, Watseka, Crescent City, and Cissna Park.

Service/program name: Developmental & Vocational Skill Training
Description: Training is individually designed to meet individual needs. Program design supports people to develop the skills necessary to reach the maximum level of independence and participate more fully in the community.

Training in areas such as motor development, hygiene, eating language, leisure time skills, as well as vocational training compose the core curriculum. Additional supports help individuals develop skills to make informed choices and increase their level of independence. Community integration is emphasized.

Consultant services include: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology, and Speech & Language Pathology.

Service/program name: Individual & Family Support Unit
Description: Provides counseling, education and support to enable individuals to live in a community environment such as their natural home or independent living. Individuals are supported to remain an integral member of their family and community. Supports provided are based on individual need and include money management, futures planning, etc.

Service/program name: In-Home Respite
Description: In-home respite services funded by Illinois Department of Human Services provides trained caregivers to supervise and assist people with developmental disabilities in their home. Respite workers give caregivers much needed support and relief from the 24-hour responsibility of caring for a family member with a disability. Limited residential respite available for adults 18 years and older.

Service/program name: Supported Employment
Description: Helps individuals find available work opportunities in the community. Job coaching trains the worker and supports co-workers on the job site to facilitate long-term employment. Work sites can be individual or group.
